I'm moving to the Boulder area. Can I sign up for mailbox services before arriving at my new location?

Yes. Contact us for details and requirements. If you are currently a mailbox customer at another The UPS Store location, make arrangements to have your mail re-mailed to your new location.

How much do mailbox services cost?

Pricing for mailbox services will be dependent on a number of factors and we’ll go through that when you sign-up for mailbox services.

Can I call to check if I have mail?

Yes. We offer Call-in MailCheck for mailbox holders. Save time. Save a trip. Call us to find out if you have mail.

Can I receive packages in my mailbox? From other carriers?

You can receive packages from any carrier with your mailbox agreement.

Can you re-mail my mail if I am away?

Yes. We offer re-mailing services for mailbox holders. The representatives at our location can re-mail your mail to you, anywhere you are. Additional charges and restrictions may apply.

Can you hold my mail if I am away?

Yes. We offer mail-holding services for mailbox holders. We can hold your mail for you until you return from a long business trip or a relaxing vacation. Additional charges may apply.

Can other people receive mail at my mailbox?

You can add the names of individuals authorized to receive mail at your mailbox. Each recipient will need to provide two valid forms of identification in order to complete the mandatory PS Form 1583.

Can other people pick up my mail at my mailbox?

Yes. You can permit people to pick up your mail by lending them the key to your mailbox. Possession of the mailbox key shall be considered valid evidence that the possessor of the key is duly authorized to remove any contents from the mailbox.

The UPS Stores @ CU Boulder has mailbox services at the Stearns Central location on campus. Please see below for information on locations and feel free to reach out to us at 303-442-2601 X103.

Regular mail, standard packages, overnight express packages, flowers, cakes, etc. are ALL delivered to their respective The UPS Store delivery locations. (Kittredge Store, Cheyenne, Village Center, and Athens).

Students will be notified via email from The UPS Store when their items have been checked in.

HELPFUL TIPS: – Mail and packages MUST HAVE THE STUDENT NAME (for security purposes we require a matching name to mailbox for delivery).

Do not use the words “P.O. Box” on the second line, the mailbox is not considered a P.O. Box. – Always be sure to keep a record of tracking information for your student. Inquiries require tracking information – Always use the hall name in the address. – Delays and returns can and do occur if a mailing address is incorrect or incomplete.
