Events at The UPS Store Wallingford

We have been working with Holy Joe’s Café for 10+ years. They are a group dedicated to collecting coffee makers and delivering coffee to troops all over the world.
Our staff volunteered their Sunday’s to not only unload minimum of 8 pallets of coffee, but also box, pack and ship them.

So far we have held 3 Halloween Family Fun Day events. We offer 10 pounds of free shredding to each of our customers that attend this event. We contact different small local businesses and give them to chance to set up a booth right on our front lawn to market themselves. Our staff and guests come in dressed up in different costumes, and we also hold a costume contest for the kids and select two winners who receive a goodie bag at the end. We hold raffles of gifts that have been donated by local companies and also have 1-2 food trucks here during the entire event. All proceeds are donated to a different charity/group every year. So far we have donated to a Coalition for a Better Wallingford, The Spanish Community of Wallingford, the YMCA, and just last year to the CT Foodbank.

We have donated and participated in the Wallingford Stroll, an annual event held by Wallingford Center Inc. We give out popcorn and set up a photobooth free of cost for all of the guests attending this event. We do what we can to give back to our customers in ways that we can.
