What should I bring with me?

When applying for a passport, an up-to-date I.D. and birth certificate are typically required.

How recent should my photo be?

Any photo used for a newly created passport should be taken within the last 6 months.

When should I renew my passport?

Nine months before expiration is the best time to renew your passport. Most countries require your passport to be valid at least 6 months past the dates of your trip. Many airlines will not even allow you to board if this requirement is not met.
